ScaleUP provides technical assistance, educational support, resources, and relationships to U.P. communities, developers, and financial institutions.

Brownfield Support (both traditional Brownfield and Housing Tax Increment Financing (TIF))

• Technical support to developers and local communities, from the exploration/conceptual stage to project completion
• Assist in and work with consultants, attorneys, and lenders on the development of necessary plan documents
• Assist in educating and presenting plans to local officials, as well as general stakeholder education

Housing Development Support

• Provide technical assistance to developers and communities in accessing State and Federal programs that support housing development
• Assist developers as they work with lending institutions to put together the multiple layers of funding that are often needed to make housing development work

Land Bank Support

• Assistance to local land banks and partners in leveraging properties and programs for development success
