There is a total of $409 million in funds available from the American Rescue Plan Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The nine eligible business categories include entertainment venues, recreational facilities and public places of amusement, barbers and cosmetologists, exercise facilities, food establishments, nursery dealers and growers, athletic trainers, body art facilities, and hotels and bed and breakfast establishments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Small \u201cbrick and mortar\u201d businesses that conduct operations in Michigan and experienced a financial decline of greater than 5% or closed due to COVID-19 are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications are open now and must be submitted no <strong>later than 11:59 p.m. EST on March 31, 2022<\/strong>. Applications must be submitted online only\u2014paper applications will not be accepted.
