Sawyer International Airport<\/a> Advisory Staff, Marquette County<\/a>, and InvestUP<\/a> have selected Pitch Corporation to demolish 13 unusable buildings at K.I. Sawyer this spring with hopes that the buildings will be completely removed by summertime.

Currently, there are more than 1,200 jobs in K.I. Sawyer at various companies. The driving force behind demolishing the unusable buildings is to attract new businesses to fill their spaces and grow the area. “We have strongly pursued developing Sawyer into a more attractive business environment,” said Duane DuRay, Director of Operations at Sawyer International Airport. “This is prime time for us to reinvent the airfield and reinvent the business park.” Read more here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
