The Michigan Department of Treasury<\/a> distributed more than $319 million in federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)<\/a> dollars to more than 1,650 Michigan communities. Every county in the Upper Peninsula was on the receiving end of the funding, with more than $30 million being distributed across the region. The money can be used to relieve the effects of the pandemic and improve economies and infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
